That's the same percentage that voted back in 2000.
Alot of people in that age group are away at college, and the gov't doesn't make it very easy for college kids to vote, so alot of them give in and don't bother.

Its really not that hard to register. I almost wish the draft was really on the table, just to see if that would push those other 87% to vote. To those young voters that did get out there and vote, you should get automatic "immunity" from any draft.
