You oftentimes conflate "a difficulting listening" with failing to say "jsarno is absolutely correct." Also, this thread did get political. 70Chip took a swing at Obama (which is fair), and I took a swipe at McCain, yet you only take issue with my comments.

I most certainly took a jab at McCain. I didn't go after 70Chip. So, while I responded to 70Chip's post, I didn't intend to go after him.
Also, I'm not taking it personally. I like reading 70Chip's posts because, even if we disagree, they're usually thoughtful and interesting. I realize you tend to try to discredit people by saying "apparently this issue has gotten you heated up," but I'm not in the slightest bit upset with 70Chip. I take issue with dumb people and a-holes, but 70Chip is neither.
Finally, I'm going to take a breather from political threads. I can't wait for the season to start so we can discuss something else.
