They obviously kept him becasue he was a 4th round pick and they are not going to give up on him over a few bad preseason games. Hopefully they can stay healthy back there and not use him until he's coached up some more.
I don't quite understand the hatred of this kid...he has not cost us any real games yet. Preseason games are practice...give him some time before you write off his entire career.
