Palin was stellar tonight. Whatever your beliefs on the content of her message, there's no denying that as a speaker she couldn't have been better. She made emotional appeals, logical appeals, and she played one of the strongest attack dog roles I've ever seen.

On top of all that, I really don't see how you can't like her as a person unless you're vehemently opposed to her stance on everything. Everyone can now see exactly why she has that 80% approval rating in Alaska, and exactly why McCain picked her.

As a speaker she was much stronger than Biden was, by a mile. McCain will have to knock one out of the park, just like she did, to attempt to match Obama.
