This is the only reason. Bush's approval rating is in the crapper. Now the ratings don't mean a damn thing to Bush but they could do alot of damage to the Rep's. The Dem's are trying to portray Mccain as the second (uh, third) coming of Bush. We have all seen the "agrees with Bush 90%" commercials. If you were Mccain, would you want to be associated with GB?
