i don't know man, humans are a pathetically lazy and apathetic species on average. It's one thing to get juiced up for a convention or a speech or whatever other social event, not so much for the solitary drive down to the local voting station. Now if we ever get our shit together and institute online voting, then you'll see much improved turnout.
