There didn't seem to be a receiver around...That was a poor play. But, the game was almost over and he was trying to force a pass deep. If Gardner hadn't dropped an earlier touchdown I don't think that pass would have ever been thrown.
You also have to remember that he had a very porous offensive line last year. A lot of the sacks from last year he couldn't avoid...After all he isn't Michael Vick.
Can you please give me some examples of when Ramsey gets his "happy feet" and runs into a sack rather than away from it? I seem to be forgetting any of those plays but by the way you said it, it sounded like it happened ofter.
I find it hard to believe that he has a tendency to run into a sack.

I am not talking about accuracy or the reciever being in the right place, that kind of thing is bound to happen.
I am talking about not throwing into double or triple coverage; looking off safeties; throwing to the open man (even if it is the short dump off) instead of trying to force a pass to a well covered man.
Regarding avoiding the rush, it is not fair to Ramsey to use Tom Brady as an example, but...Tom Brady is just as slow a foot as Ramsey, but Brady senses when he has been holding the ball too long and seems to feel a pass rusher coming close to him. He does a better job of eluding them, while Ramsey sometimes seems like a sitting duck.
Also, I heard a reporter (I forget his name) mention that Ramsey was sacked alot in college as well. Seems like Ramsey's getting sacked alot is not something new to him, might be from him holding the ball to long.
Also during a Redskins game this season or preseason the commentator brought up the stat that Ramsey has the most (percentage wise) passes kncked down at the line than any other active starting Qb in the league; that has thrown a certain minimum of passes.
Some of it is the O-lines fault, but all QB's in the NFL have little time to throw and get pressured. Ramsey needs to stop tempting fate and make up his mind sooner and throw it or throw it away.
I have said this alot but Ramsey reminds me alot of Drew Blesoe, great arm but gets sacked alot.
