As a person who proudly wore a uniform in the U.S. Marine Corps, I look at the flag and this country alot deferently than you. Even though that you think you were being funny or cute when you said that you grabbed your crotch during the National Anthem, I most certainly did not. I think it is truly sad that you feel that way and that you feel comfortable even saying things like that. I really comes across as you being a smart-ass, and I know that you are way smarter than that. I'm sure that you and others would call me out for saying anything like racially insensitive, and I would expect that. I also expected you to choose a better way to make your point than that.

I'm sure that you and I could go to Fedex, and stand next to each other, and cheer on our Skins and never know about were we stand on the politcal spectrum. But to me, it's God and country first, and always.

Nice post. Though, in a strange sense, you could feel pride that the tremendous efforts and sacrifices you've made for this country have allowed saden to feel comfortable enough to make such comments.
