Thought I'd share a more common view of what the rural community that I'm more familiar with thinks regarding this presidential election. If you have time check more of the links on guardian.co.uk as Gary Younge, british journalist, works his way around Roanoke during the election season. Some stuff is poignant, others....not so much.
