Please don't let the stats fool you. Everytime he was given a
chance to be the #1 featured back he would fumble during the game and then be taken out of the game to ride the bench. So if you are going to go with those stats keep in mind on NFL.com they have him as having 5 fumbles through his whole career. If I remember correctly he probably had 5 starts would fumble and be benched. I'm not kidding. As far as his KR abilities...he's awsome. Meaning he does not usually fumble and will usually get the team to the 20 or 30 yard line. Once in a while he gets to the 50. Try finding out how many KR he broke for a touch down through his whole career. I'm guessing you will not be impressed.
He's a nice fill in and pray not to fumble RB but he will never be a featured back. He found that out when he was a free agent and resigned with the Skins. Can they teach him not to fumble...sure. They taught Betts how to do that. but if you are going to have to teach someone the game why not pick a younger RB who can take over when Portis hangs up his cleats.
Funny on the main page for Rock they have him with 5 fumbles when you look at career stats they have him at 3 so go figure. I got it 3 rushing fumbles which was his whole career for featured back. One receiving fumble and one KR fumble. He's only had 8 TD's his whole career also. One KR TD, one receiving TD, and 6 rushing TD's. That's good considering he's been with the team 7 years. Hmmm.
