You are also forgetting this same time last year that NYG fans wanted to run Eli out of NY especially after the infamous Minnesota game. He was leading the leagues in fumbles and interceptions last season. I wouldn't say Eli is light years ahead of JC. Eli was an mediocre QB on a great team that why he was able to win a superbowl and consistently take the Giants to the playoffs. Statistically JC is way ahead of Manning if your trying to compare Manning of last year to JC this year.
