Your statement still supports my belief. Eli has been the butt of my jokes for years saying he was the adpoted son in the family. Eli while not a good student still is a Manning so my theory is that Peyton got tired of him bringing shame to the family legacy and tutored him before last season. Why would Peyton not have given him an advantage before the Super Bowl to beat the PATS? Whats good for Eli is good for the Manning family.
Eli yes is still stupid but his game has leaped in the past 2 years. Maybe his bad balls yesterday was related to Burress not being there, maybe the WR messed up, maybe the skins are that good, maybe QB is a hard posistion, maybe just a brain fart, whatever it was it isn't reason to debunk my theory.
