People just want a fall guy to take the blame for 4 WRs on our roster having disappointing seasons.

It's not that people are unwilling to admit that the underachieving is the fault of the men who brought them in or *gasp* the players themselves, but that they'd rather not admit it if they can tidy it up and be all "look we're okay because Stan Hixon was the problem all along."
