Re: What's wrong with the passing game? (Non-JC edition)

I'm 100% on the "O-line is our #1 problem" bandwagon as well...

My favorite call was a week or two ago when Zorn went 5 wide and hit ARE on a drag for a touchdown.

The perfect play for a shitty o-line.

We take what we can get, and that's been doing more screens, more drags, and more quick hitches and such. The problem is, that's incredibly easy for a defense to focus their game plan on. The second Zorn tries to get creative and throw something at a defense, our guys can no longer execute because they f up; get confused, run the wrong route, Campbell makes the wrong read etc. Hence the reason we've scored five touchdowns in five weeks. We can't sustain drives.

The fact is, without an o-line, the offense Zorn installed will NOT work. Ever. It has been too hard at this point of the season to adjust. So we're not executing.
