Alexander is definately the absolute prototype for a 4th defensive tackle. He cost the team nothing to draft or sign. He's good enough to start a game if you need him in that role. He's got situational value even if all three guys ahead of him are healthy AND he plays in the goal line packages on offense and on special teams.

I think we'd get killed on the interior if we had to start Alexander the whole year, but as the 4th DT, he's a pretty quality asset and definately worth a roster spot as long as he's one of the four best defensive tackles on the roster.

Buzbee probably got hurt by Daniels' injury more than anyone else because going into the year he had a legitimate chance to be what Demetric Evans has been for us this year. Unfortunately, Daniels injury caused us to go out and get Taylor, and the chances that Buzbee (even with age on his side) outlasts both Taylor and Daniels on the roster has to be pretty small.
