When we needed at least one very competitive back-up (behind an aging line) the FO takes a kid from AA ball, and to boot takes him several rounds before the scouts had placed him. Really, really discouraging. Some have pointed out Rhinehart was sort of a project - that's very nice if you've got a stockyard full on talent but not when you've got jack shit behind the starters. For that matter, we just needed to aim for another starter to begin with. I hope the FO can vastly improve itself for the upcoming FA market and draft.
