I would:
- be checking with my scouting department, make sure they had a good read on the various line players available.
- listen to VC/JZ about the player moves that are available
- meet with JZ after we are done this season's games (however far we go) and review his goals and coaching personnel. Give him the authority/responsibility to fire-hire his staff to fit his methods.
- authorize the spending needed to bring in competitive talent both on field and coaching
- sit in my owner's box and Scream "YEAH!!!" when we beat our opponents (oh and watch all the cheerleader practices!
)
