I understand that you can't just go by stats and that many scouts see Cushing as being a better prospect than Sartz but i'm just showing you how easily comparable the two players are. I'm just not sold on Cushing at all I just think that he's a hyped up USC Linebacker who is a benefactor of a great defensive scheme.

Dallas Sartz 6'5" 240 lbs. 4.58 40 (Pro Day results)
Final College Stats: 194 TCKS 22.5 TFL 12.5 SCKS 16 PD 2 INT

Brian Cushing 6'3" 255 lbs. 4.75 40
Final College Stats: 171 TCKS 26.5 TFL 8 SCKS 12 PD 1 INT

I'd be skeptical of pre-combine and pro-day numbers. A lot of those 40 times are estimates. Plus it's obvious Cushing has something that Startz doesn't, my guess is part of the reasons he's grading out as a first rounder is because he has a higher football IQ. Though I'm willing to bet that come April Cushing will be a 2nd or 3rd round pick even if he's still graded as a late first rounder.
