I don't think what he wants to do is Madden-esque, necessarily. Seems like every team we would deal with has incentive to do the deals he proposes.

But there's two really obvious things: theres no flexiblity in his plan. If Lechler and Asomugha resign with Oakland, there's no plan B. We just get worse.

And that proposed starting lineup really sort of kinda sucks the big one. The receivers suck. The line sucks. The quarterback is a downgrade. The front seven gets a little bit better on defense, but I can't remember, didn't someone already try Asomugha and Hall at the corners? Didn't Hall get roasted over an open fire by AFC teams in that same scenario?

Outside of that, it's change for the sake of change. I'll give him props for at least putting concrete ideas on paper with some thought, instead of taking abstract jabs at non issues.
