Well, then theres the point that we shouldn't judge any corner by INTs because they tend to be a negative indicator.

The best corner in the league, Asomugha, has fewer picks than Rogers in more games since 2007. In fact, he did not intercept a pass his first three years in the league. Sure, his 8 INT season in 2006 is what made him an elite corner in the minds of most offensive guys, but it's not like he's been in decline since that season, though his INT total certainly begs the question.

I guess what I'm saying is that while I share your frustrations with Rogers on those missed opportunities, I think you have to realize that he created the opportunity in the first place by reading the route and breaking on the ball. To say that his INT production has been piss poor would be like saying that London Fletcher's forced fumble ability (1 as a Redskin, 11 in his entire career) is piss poor and that he's thusly expendable. I just don't think that's how a players value to the team should be graded, at least not seriously when deciding his trade value.
