I wasn't around so I don't know, but I seem to remember something about the early 50's called the Red Scare; where people regularly were anonymously reporting Stalinists and Communists (oh my) and it got out of control. Family Services can too often behave the same way. If an adult reported the crime than that name should be available to the public. There should be some accountability for false accusors and then maybe there would be less concern that big brother was just doing whatever the heck they want.
