I've seen a lot of Mock Drafts having us take Everette Brown from FSU....he played DE in college but can play OLB in the pros...he's listed as 6'4" 248 lbs., had 37 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 21.5 TFL, and 3 FFs as a DE last season. This mock had the 4 big OTs (Monroe, Oher, A. Smith, J. Smith) already gone. I mean, I've been all for the OT or trading down, but for arguements sake (and since the draft ain't for another 3 months), if those 4 OTs are gone and no one wants to trade up for our pick, is Everette Brown (if he has good combine/pro days) really a bad pick?

Think about it, we need LB depth, and an OLB that can start. He's currently a big guy, we could have him lose a few pounds (5-10 lbs) so he'd gain some speed and start at LOLB, but if in a year or two we need a DE, we would have the option to tell him to take some weight gain n put him on the line opposite of Carter (he's only 29 and has a long term deal so he ain't goin' nowhere.)

I'm watching a youtube video on Everette Brown and he don't fall for the okie-doke. he doesn't bite on the play action at all...but yea he looks a lil big to be playing a OLB in a 4-3, but looks very smart

We could then Cut Washington to free up $4 million cap, then sign a OLB vet to a 2-year $4 million contract just for depth and to help out Brown...
I hear you, but let's catch the fish before we start deciding on which ones we want to toss out of the bucket.
