I think there's an assumption here that if we could get a real Lenny in here, instead of that bum Hixon, our WR production would improve.

But it probably won't do anything.

I don't even think it's worth the buyout cost to fire Hixon. If his contract expires, we can go in a different direction for his sake. But until then, seems like sort of a witch hunt to blame a guy for not rescuing the careers of crappy WRs.

I guess your right, We can blame the line for not giving JC enough time to throw the ball. I'll agree with that. We can say the WR's brought in were second rate WR's and as you put it crappy, but I will not excuse the fact that he has no culpability in helping to evaluate the WR talent and add suggestions as to who the team should possibly go after.

So if the WR's sucked then his evaluating talent sucks also Which means more of the same unless something changes. What a track record 0-25 in the development department. All but 3 sucked (who he did not develope;Moss, ARE, Thrash), and two who were not ready to play NFL football. Either physically nor mentally. Which again I hold him responsible for not giving them a work out routine prior to the season and helping them learn the play book during the season.

Witch hunt. maybe. tired of mediocracy...yes. Where would Gibbs have been had he gone 0-25 in his second 2 seasons?
