I think there's an assumption here that if we could get a real Lenny in here, instead of that bum Hixon, our WR production would improve.
But it probably won't do anything.
I don't even think it's worth the buyout cost to fire Hixon. If his contract expires, we can go in a different direction for his sake. But until then, seems like sort of a witch hunt to blame a guy for not rescuing the careers of crappy WRs.

Yeah but it's so easy to just blame this guy we don't know much about who isn't here to defend himself
... seriously, if Kelly or Thomas or both aren't significantly improved Danny Boy ought to sue Hixon for back wages (after firing him of course). This guy has yet to improve/develop a WR in the NFL (at least i haven't heard anyone dispute that point so far) and who's job is it anyway to 1) make sure
his group knows the playbook inside and out and 2) make sure the WR corp can run precise routes and create separation?
