Several years ago, the Redskins made a high-profile transaction with the Broncos to acquire a running back.

On Friday, the Redskins picked up another tailback from the Broncos, but with far less fanfare.

The Redskins have announced that they’ve been awarded running back Anthony Alridge on waivers from the Broncos.

Also, the Redskins announced that they have re-signed long snapper Ethan Albright, a 14-year veteran who has spent the last seven in D.C.
