Then that's it, case closed. A career Democratic politician says that "Bush lied about Iraq". Bush must be a liar then. How convenient for Carper to make this claim, when public opionion pols swayed against the war. This just emphasizes the point of Democrats politicizing the war, rather than staying behind the President to get Iraq 100% stabilized so we don't wind up with another post-USSR Afghanistan, or worse a super-Iran.
Sen. Carper voted for the use of force against Iraq back in 2002 and has been fairly consistent in his voting patterns with most main stream Dems, funding the troops, but bashing Bush along the way.

Keep in mind that a majority of Democrats, including those on the Intel committee supported the war. The "lies" Bush put out were delivered by Colin Powell. Is he now a liar too. Bottom line is there was bad analysis of intel from the CIA, which was headed by a Clinton hold-over. Bush didn't lie.
