Comedy is about context, timing and delivery. If we're calling it like we see it well then you're not funny and your joke was tasteless. If you get hit by a bus tomorrow know that I will be thinking of you and saying to myself "couldn't happen to a better person." Let's hope you make it to Friday, m'kay.
