With that being the case, why sign Evans who is 29, a reserve who is a fill in starter but let's not fool ourselves into thinking that he is anything more than what he is. If he gets out there and doesn't find what he's looking for in terms of money and opportunity then certainly try to bring him back at a reasonable rate but let's not set the market for him with a starter level offer. |
Funny that you mention this, because I was thinking the same thing. Someone here once said that the Redskins FO only thinks about the upcoming season and doesn't think about the future. Well I think you are right, I think they are thinking about the 2010 season and getting all of these big contracts out of the way. Even if there is no cap, we'll part ways with these old players and rejuvenate the team.
