This one was a no-brainer, which, in a way, is what's most encouraging. Our FO tends not to do the obvious right moves. Now Haynesworth is what it is: it could be huge, but if it fails, it will be a big albatross around Danny and Vinny's necks.

As for "slurping the FO"--yeah, we do win the offseason pretty regularly. So cautious optimism/reflective realism is the right policy. It's about wins, not stats and contracts. Full stop. And you can't win games in the offseason, sadly.

But the Danny does make Feb/March more interesting!
