If Samuels comes back healthy, Thomas fully recovers and they bring in a legitimate right tackle that Rabach will be just fine. I find it hard to dismiss Rabach when the healthy first unit was kicking butt and arguably one of the top units in the league.

Well, they did some things with the blocking schemes to cover for him in the first half of the year that they couldn't do in the second half of the year. So you could say that he was more successful in the first eight games than the second.
Getting Samuels and Thomas back should
absolutely make the line better, but I'm not sure how that makes Rabach's inability to pass block or move a nose tackle even one inch less of a liability.
