I understand that. Both can't cover anybody but Archuletta with the Rams was extremely athletic and was a playmaker. He was useless as a starting safety with us just like Doughty.
I know that some people seem to love this guy but I don't think that a guy who can make a few tackles on special teams should be on the roster. I would rather have a guy with some upside.
Hopefully we nail the draft and Morroco Brown finds some gems so that Doughty gets pushed out. Then I know the talent evaluators are earning their checks.
