The Bears, 1) didn't have anyone remotely of Campbell's quality on thier roster, and 2) Cutler would have been a disaster here (speaking relatively), and 3) they really overpaid for him.
Cutler is Campbell. He's white, a bit shorter, and more careless/aggressive. They're both good. I like Cutler. You never, ever give two firsts for a largely unproven QB. Just like no team should give two firsts for Campbell, no team should have given two 1sts for Cutler. Supposedly, we did offer that, and the Bears went over the top.
Let me ask you this, if Cutler was truly the next coming of Manning, why in the world would Denver give him up? He apparently isn't enough of a franchise QB to act like a spoiled brat, and still keep his job.
