People saying a house in Reston going for 1mil is way too high. You can get a nice single family home for 200-300K. My roommate has been trying to buy for some time so far. Finding a house in this area is the hard part. Every property she's bidding on has had 20 or so offers. Also, people are offering cash, which is hard to beat with a loan. You may have to rent, but it's really not THAT bad.

Please show me a listing in Reston for a single family home under $300k that is not falling apart or a forclosure/ short sale? Townhouse maybe.
Ok I searched on this web site and found 168 listings mostly condo's, townhouses and some older single family homes. So they are out there but I would not live in that price range in NOVA but that is me.
