I have seen pretty much everything ever put out by Cohen and I agree with that statement but the strong majority of those he burns bridges with are not huge named movie/music celebs, but mainly random people and politicians, etc.
And he has slowly changed his tactics as he has entered the movie industry. First the Ali G Movie, Borat(Pamela thing was setup) and now Bruno. He doesn't target big name guys rather random joes and c to d listers(fashion guys, etc.).
