Don't know anything about this but I have been to Thailand and it is well understood amongst travelers there that if you mess with Thai people, like really mess with them to the point where there's a serious beef, you might end up committing "suicide" - meaning that they will find you hanged in your hotel room the next day, after which the police will quickly declare it a suicide with no investigation.
