Well, I mean, sort of. No one really disputes the fact that Tiger is the best golfer on the planet, but there are other elite golfers as well.
Manning is clearly the best quarterback on the planet, but that doesn't mean Brady and Brees aren't also elite.
It's a good comparison. The point is, you don't have to be the greatest ever to be at the top of your field.
