Tanner was as much of a part of the press as the rest of the press in the locker room. He has a press pass, so he has as much right to be there as anybody else who has a press pass.
I think Tanner just reacted like any of the rest of us would have reacted. I seriously doubt any of us would say, "wow, that Randy Moss is an intense guy, I'm going to honor his requests by not interviewing him. He's such a chip off the old block." It's easy for us to sit back and pick Tanner apart, because we were not in his position. And, Randy Moss could have easily said, "No thanks man, not doing any interviews." NFL players are role models, like it or not. I think they need to act like it. It's one thing to be all business, it's another thing to come off as a jerk.
