With an improved line in front of him next year, a year in the system under his belt, and some modifications to the running game Portis could easily recapture some of his explosive play and go for 1500+ yards and double-digit scores.
Portis is not a problem that needs fixing in the least bit, in fact I hope he's our back for the next 7 years.
Betts looks like a solid backup/spot starter, but let's not get out of control here. He had a nice day against a flat out bad Minnesota defense. That's not going to impress me enough to say we should trade our franchise RB.
That would be like the Colts thinking they could trade Manning after their rookie backup QB came in and played well today. It's nonsense and not even worth talking about at length.
