Fair warning.

You've done nothing but make yourself look foolish here. You claimed that Rock's stats were terrible, I showed you that he is consistently among the best in kick returns, using incontrovertible facts. Then you dismiss statistics as dorky and irrelevant.

You've then indirectly compared Marcus Mason to Joshua Cribbs and Darren Sproles by suggesting that we choose between Rock and those elite return men. Needless to say this is idiotic, because those are Browns and Chargers, not Redskins. We are debating Mason vs Rock, not Rock vs the league.

Concurrent to this absurd analysis of yours, you continue to dismiss punt and kick coverage skills as a matter of importance. You also fail to answer my call to explain what skill set Mason adds to the team that does not already exist on the roster. So in addition to looking foolish, you appear to have little to no understanding of the NFL.
I am by no means in league with DMV, however your stats only proved he was the #6 in total yrds as a KR from ESPN. I agree cause I can't argue against that fact he had so many yrds. Probably cause other teams scored so much either with TD's or Field Goals. but I pointed out that he was like #23 on the list of all the KRers last yr with like 25 yrds per carry. Being #23 is not bad but it's not top 10 either.

Now take a moment and look at his Rushing yrds. I mean if he's going to be listed as a RB then lets look at his RB stats. He's way, way, way, down the page. I think JC had more yrds Rushing. I guess that's cause he sucks right? wrong. If he's not being utilized as a RB then it's unfair to compare his stats. No different then Mason who has not been utilized this preseason cause they are looking at Alridge, Dorsey, and Thomas.

but....I'll repeat what I wrote earlier, why does the RB have to be the KR? I mean if Thomas has another great showing like he did last game then why couldn't the KR be a WR. Thus eliminating the whole Rock issue all together. Maybe that's what Cerrato was eluding to. If Thomas has a good showing then he can be the KR/WR cause I think we all agree Kelly has surpassed him and Mitchell I think looks better also. Then the team can let Rock go and keep Mason and Alridge. That would be Portis, Betts, Mason, Alridge and Sellers. 5.

Not that it will or won't happen just throwing it out there.
