The Redskins settled the
Colt Brennan-
Chase Daniel debate.
The team placed Brennan, the second-year QB, on injured reserve. And it cut Daniel, leaving the Redskins with just starter
Jason Campbell and backup
Todd Collins on the roster.
Washington coach
Jim Zorn told Larry Weisman of the team's website that disabling Brennan was the best move.
"He could be out for a while with his hamstring,"
Zorn said. "He's a guy we need to get rehabbed. For us, it's an opportunity to not keep putting a Band-Aid on it."
Daniel could still win a spot on the Redskins' practice squad if he clears waivers. --
