I think the point was that they spent alot for a couple of reserves who now are either out for the season, or been struggling with injury.
We have been fortunate that we had no major injuries to starters or backups. This is assuming that Carlos is just being careful, and not that the team is kinda covering a more severe injury. I watched the replay tonight, and one odd thing is that Carlos was being interviewed, and they said he was just coming back from putting ice on his calf. He wasn't even playing. That makes me worried.
