Seriously guys? Jason's stats were very close to Eli's. What I don't understand is, last year, the guy is super conservative, throws very few INT's, and the complaint is "Jason doesn't take chances, the dink and dunk isn't going to get it done".
Today his turnovers are held out as proof he cost us the game, but surely him holding that ball forever and a day is not because he was looking to throw a 2 yard dumpoff pass. He was looking to take a shot and waited too long. It happens.
I know everyone is tired of me pointing at Jay Cutler but homes is looking fantastic right now, with 3 picks already. Granted, Sanchez had a solid game but come on, it was the Texans
Jason didn't have a great game, to be sure. But this game was not on him. How many third and longs did we allow NY to convert in the first half? How many times did we call predictable, vanilla run plays on 1st and 2nd down? How many tackles did we totally whiff on in the secondary? And don't get me started on the ARE reverse.
I predict that the team will lose a couple more games before Zorn says "Eff it" and throws caution to the wind. Then we'll win a couple of games and surprise some people. But it will probably be too little, too late.
