I wouldn't worry about Gregg Williams taking the Niners job, but I would worry about Greg Blache taking the job.
If I recall, everyone thought he would be the choice a couple of years ago, but all the while the Niners were secretly interviewing and working a deal with Erickson. San Fran is not an enviable job but if you have no head coaching experience and, I hate to say this, you're African-American you don't pass up an opportunity to get your first head-coaching gig...not matter how bad the gig may seem to be.
