No offense GTripp. I like you work. I'll just keep praying Zorn is done sometime this yr.

If we decide to cut Zorn during the season then we need a WCO HC. If we wait....we can try to pick anyone.
Nothing I do can critique the way that Zorn prepares a team during the week. I have no idea if that's a problem or not.

During the game, I'm not sure what Zorn could have done differently. Campbell had no protection all day, and he put the football on the ground way too many times and a lot of his throws under pressure were uncharacteristically careless. I think Zorn sort of pussed out on some 3rd and short calls in the 3rd and 4th quarter, but that's not why we lost.

The defense is awful. I have no idea what's wrong with Carlos Rogers. He's always had trouble with bigger, more physical receivers, but when was the last time he went a whole game without making a play? Smoot is awful. Hall is only good when compared to Smoot. The run defense in this game was horrific, and that will probably be the focus of the defensive game review.

Fletcher played hard, and Haynesworth was incredible, but the defensive line as a whole got it's ass kicked. I'm thinking (but will wait to confirm) that Golston is a major problem. Daniels has been terrible two out of three weeks. McIntosh may or may not have done poorly, but he didn't show up in the stat sheet at all.

Bottom line, it's easy to control the clock when you can run the ball on both first and second down and have no doubt that if the defense slows you down at all, they'll just give you an easy completion on third down.

It was our worst offensive performance of the three games this season, but it was quite possible our worst defensive performance of the last 6 years.
