Thanks for the list Saden, seems a sad list though, 108 years, we have been awarding it for striving for peace. How many were for awarded for Mid East efforts or world peace organizations. Yet we still have blood shed daily, both on the streets of our country and throughout the world. But lets face it, peace in this world is as elusive as the holy grail ever was.

I'm not sure what you're advocating. That Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. King shouldn't strive for peace? Or that Aung San Suu Kyi and Nelson Mandela aren't deserving of recognition? Peace might be elusive but it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.
