Re: Who would you get rid of for 2010?
#1 Portis - and I hate saying that because I have been a very big supporter of him the past few years. I think he can still grind it and get 100 a game, but just for the simple fact that his act seems to be wearing thin in the locker room.
#2 Randel El - I really think he is just not needed. Overpaid #3 receiver.
#3 Moss - I dont think he is a #1 receiver in this league. he never seems to get open on a regular basis. I look at Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, TO, Steve Smith all the #1's in the league and they always find a way to get 4 to 7 balls a game. We do NOT have a #1 on the roster. We haven't won with him there, so why keep trying.
#4 Carter - were giving him big money and he hasn't been a consistant performer since getting here. another overpaid player that is average at best. He is suppose to be a rush end, he doesn't generate a lot of pressure and doesn't play the run very well, so really why keep him.
#5 Griffin - has been a really good player for us for a number of years, but we need to get younger. Montgomery and Golston played well last year, give the job to one of them, or rotate them with Hayensworth.
I am not saying Campbell - I think he has the ability to be an effective QB and win some games. If he were to ever get comfortable in a system and just be able to play on instinct instead of having to learn a new system every year or two i think he could be a very good QB. He has the arm, the mobility and the willingness to work hard, study and wants to be good. The determination he has shown to learn and be THE GUY is impressive to me. Those are the kinds of players I want on my team.
I guess I should have put this at the top, but my #1 overall would be the combination of Snyder of Cerato, they would be gone if I had the ability to get people out
