And what do you mean ruining the NBA? You mean how LeBron James in his 2nd year out of High School is absolutely tearing it up? Clarette is a beast of a running back and wanting to come out of school early didn't strip him of that. He wanted to play in the big dance because he HAD NOTHING LEFT TO PROVE. Led his team to the national championship where they bent Miami over their knee because of Clarette. The kid can run, and I truly hope this thread can be revived in 3 years to see where he ends up.
Wolfeskins - Our nation is built on the court systems. If you feel something is wrong, you take it to them and see how they view it. They viewed, in one court, that it was wrong to keep people away from their profession, so both Clarette and Williams signed up. Now they both had to take time off, yet Clarette is the only bad guy? You said earlier you don't want the NFL to be ruined by young players. Make up your mind and stop demonizing Clarette. Do you even know what Clarette did to make you hate him? Do you know why he was blackballed from college? It was very simple - he lied when the police came. No one ever lies to police! So what you're telling me, is since Mike Williams didn't lie to a few cops that he's a better person and deserving of the NFL? Please. If you're going to make an argument, please make it congruent throughout the thread.
