I used to print t-shirts. Burgundy shirts with yellow lettering would cost you for two colors on each side. It would be necessary to underbase (but a white that's slightly smaller than the gold down first), then flash (dry), and then print gold. Gold shirts you MIGHT be able to sneak by with maroon lettering if you ordered a few and they were done on a manual, but it wouldnt look as good as underbased shirt would.
If you're doing two colors. White shirts with burgundy letters and a gold outline would look nice too, and you can skip the flash charge if they don't touch.
