I don't agree with Lavalis at all. I did not watch a single LSU game where he impressed me, I do like Watson though, he was clocked at a 4.4 40 and has great power. Also disagree with Vilma. He is a great player and I think he will be better than most think, yet he will not be a MLB in the NFL he is fast and weighs about 225-230 making him an perfect outside backer which we don't need. Here is a possibly wild card though....Sean McHugh a fullback that may be moved to TE in the NFL. At 6'4" 260+ he can catch out of the back field and a good blocker a perfect H-back type player for Gibbs. He almost reminds me of a bigger Bryan Johnson and could most likely be picked up as an undrafted free agent.

Opinions differ obviously. My main point is that the Redskins dont need to be giving a guy who if he is the best player at his position 3 years from now wont necessarily put us over the hump a 7-10m signing bonus and get stuck without the other 2 potential players we could gain by trading out.

Lets face it, Brian Dawkins has been the NFC's best safety the past three seasons but has not been a difference maker in one NFC championship. We have more then one hole to fill and getting a bona fide Free Safety, Tight End and Defensive Tackle in my eyes for the cost of one Sean Taylor is a no brianer...

But then again, I have rarely agreed with most folks on this board about most things....
