From what I read, next years draft is pretty deep overall. I say we take advantage of it and accumulate as many picks in rounds 2-4 as possible.

In theory I agree with you. However, I seriously doubt we'll find a team willing to trade into the top 5 for our pick. The amount you have to give up and the price you have to pay for the player prohibits anything about 12ish being very trade able.
